Personal Info
He became a Swedish Citizen when Båhus was handed over to Sweden. He bought Brandsthorp to remain a Danish-Norwegian citizen, but was introduced at the Swedish "Riddarhuset" in 1674 and thus joined the Swedish nobility. In the following year he supported Denmark-Norway in the war. The Swedish king therefore confiscated Morland in 1676 and gave it to lieutenant general Hans Georg Mörner, who later gave it back to Knud's son.11
