6 May 1485 he and his wife had a charter of Polgour and Clow, in the barony of Tullibardine. The charter was confirmed under the Great Seal 16 January 1499-1500, when John was already dead. He was one of the defendants in the action brought by Lord Drummond 24 February 1491.4
