1 June 1589 he murdered his guest Paul Pedersen Ucken at Ornum. He escaped to Schwerin, but went back when his child died. He had invited several guests who did not appear. He accused Paul Uckens cousin Povl Ucken til Avnbøllund of this. He therefore broke into his farm Avnbøllund 22 September 1591 trying to kill Povl Ucken but was instead shot by him in the moonlight.8
